Product overview

A stable carbon material specified for what it does under load and temperature.

Graphite is used in oil-field systems where lubricity, sealing behaviour or thermal stability is required. NPE supplies it in the size and grade agreed with the customer.

Sizing determines how the material behaves in the system, so it is confirmed at enquiry stage alongside the grade. NPE does not publish fixed technical values; specifications are issued on request.

Packing formats and documentation are prepared for the destination market and transit route.

Key benefits

What graphite change in your system

Each point below is a reason the material is specified. Values are not published; grades and technical specifications are available on request.

Lubricity

Used where a fluid system requires a solid lubricant phase.

Sealing duty

Specified in systems where sealing behaviour across the wellbore is part of the design.

Thermal stability

A stable carbon material for systems exposed to elevated temperature.

Sized to requirement

Supplied in the size band agreed with the customer.

Chemically inert

Does not react with the surrounding system in normal service.

Export supply

Supplied internationally with destination-market documentation.

Product grades & technical specifications

Applications

Where the material earns its place

Duties the material is supplied into, with grade selection confirmed with our technical team before the first order.

01

Drilling fluid systems

Lubricity and sealing duties within the fluid programme.

02

Cementing systems

Used where the cement design specifies a carbon phase.

03

High-temperature systems

Applications requiring a thermally stable solid material.

04

Industrial compounds

Compounds and mixes requiring graphite as a functional additive.

Industries served

Sectors specifying graphite

Supplied into technical supply chains where the material is qualified before it is purchased.

  • Oil & Gas

    Drilling and cementing operations.

  • Foundry & Metallurgy

Carbon duty in metallurgical and casting operations.

  • Distribution

    Industrial and oil-field material distributors.

Why choose NPE

A supply relationship built on documentation, not assurances

Manufacturing since 2005, exporting since 2006, with supply experience across more than one hundred countries.

Two manufacturing sites

Manufacturing in West Bengal and Maharashtra, India, with a current annual capacity of 4,000 MT and a single quality standard across both sites.

Oil-well application focus

Materials engineered and supplied for demanding oil-well applications, with grades set to customer requirements.

Specification-led supply

Requirements are agreed before the first order and become the basis on which each subsequent consignment is released.

Export experience since 2006

Around 95% of output is exported, with supply experience across more than 100 countries and documentation prepared for the destination market.
