Product overview
An additive specified where the formation, not the fluid, is the problem.
Sulphonated asphalt is used in drilling fluid systems where reactive formations have to be stabilised and filtration controlled. NPE supplies it as a dry product in the grade agreed with the customer.
Because behaviour depends on the fluid system and the formation, NPE does not publish performance values. The requirement is agreed at enquiry stage and becomes the release basis for the material supplied.
Packing and documentation are prepared for the destination market and transit route.
